Mga Kababayan Lyrics By Francis Magalona

Mga kababayan ko
Dapat lang malaman nyo
Bilib ako sa kulay ko
Ako ay pilipino
Kung may itim or may puti
Mayron naman kayumangi
Isipin mo na kaya mong
Abutin ang yung minimithi
Dapat magsumikap para tayoy di maghirap
Ang trabaho mo pagbutihin mo
Dahil pag gusto mo ay kaya mo
Kung kaya mo ay kaya nya
At kaya nating dalawa
Magaling ang atin
Yan ang laging iisipin
Pag asensyo mararating
Kung handa kang tiisin
Ang hirap at pagod sa problema
Wag kang malunod

Three stars and a sun in one sky so high
I live and die and die will I for my
Motherland, this is the land of my birth
No purse is worth the price of this earth
Can we rise, can we all
Hell no, or should we all just take the fall
Bless the man if his heart and his land are one
The three stars and a sun
Three stars and a sun
I’m ready to defend the three stars and a sun
Three stars and a sun
I’m ready to defend the three stars and a sun
Omission to a mission, transport for the brain
Packed with stacks of tracks built for a train
I eat lead but I never let it be said
“He said, she said,” it makes me see red
‘Cause I don’t take bullshit
And I’m a-pack it and push it and hit you with the full clip
Switch to mode lock-’n'-load in the land of Juan
The three stars and a sun

Live as if you were die tomorrow

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

Quotations about Life

Just living is not enough.  One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.  ~Hans Christian Anderson

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me."  ~Erma Bombeck

The purpose of life is a life of purpose.  ~Robert Byrne

I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world.  This makes it hard to plan the day.  ~Elwyn Brooks White

Life is simple, it's just not easy

Life Quotes

«The tears of the world are a constant quantity. For each one who begins to weep somewhere else another stops. The same is true of the laugh.»
«Most of us lead far more meaningful lives than we know. Often finding meaning is not about doing things differently; it is about seeing familiar things in new ways.»
«We had the experience but missed the meaning. And approach to the meaning restores the experience in a different form.»

-But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life; and thanks to a benevolent arrangement of things, the greater part of life is sunshine.
-The proper office of a friend is to side with you when you are in the wrong. Nearly anybody will side with you when you are in the right.
