Miserable At Best – Blair&Chuck (Gossip Girl)

I thought nothing could tear us apart…” This is the perfect Chuck & Blair song. I really wanted to edit them again, I haven’t in so long. And then after seeing Nati and Fran’s epic chair videos, I was really inspired. And this is what came out. I miss them. Reminiscing S1+2 Chair makes me kinda sad. ‘Don’t say I don’t miss the way we were.’ Well, I miss the way they were. The Limo Scene from 1×07 will always be my favourite gossip girl scene – ever. Gossip Girl writers, you seriously suck. Chair Season 4 hasn’t been that great, except for the piano sex haha, but the best thing about S4 has been Dair, and even that was a disaster in the end.

Gossip Girl: # The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present and now that Chuck Bass is out of hospital, im guessing we're in for a ride! You Know You Love me xoxo #

It has been a few days since Chuck was discharged from hospital, he is back to full health and he feels his memory has also returned although a lot of things he's remembered, he has kept to himself.
Serena has had the difficult job of trying to get Blair back on her feet. Blair has been missing a lot of school and is always feeling poorly, but refuses to see a Doctor. Serena has managed to help her with school work to make sure she remains on track but still finds it difficult to get her back to her normal self. Blair isn't over Chuck, she feels more lost than ever at the fact that he has rejected her, especially as she blames herself for their breakup and his accident. Her eating habits have worsened and her disorder is in full flow, but luckily no one has noticed the bulimia.

Petron gets big boost from Lutz to spoil Tim Cone’s B-Meg debut

The Petron Blaze Boosters countered the triangle-offense running B-Meg Derby Ace Llamdos with an offensive trinity of their own to post a pulsating 73-69 win last night at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Rookie Chris Lutz sizzled in his pro debut by firing 19 points and Alex Cabagnot scored the team's last seven points including a dagger three-pointer as the Blaze Boosters defeated the Llamados, 73-69, in the main game of the PBA Philippine Cup at the Astrodome.

Living up to his reputation as a clutch player, Cabagnot nailed a big three-pointer with two minutes and 25 seconds to go, giving the Boosters a 69-67 cushion to hold on for the win in the tightly-fought game pitting two sister teams.

The 26-year-old Lutz from Cal State at Fullerton, meanwhile, also played huge at the defensive end, alternately taking on B-MEG's top gunners Peter June Simon and James Yap.

Simon did finish with a game-high 21 points but James Yap was held to 10 markers.

The Llamados missed successive three-pointers in the stretch, including one by James Yap, the two-time league Most Valuable Player, in the final 27 seconds that spelled doom for Cone's coaching debut in a team favored to win the season-opening conference.

Cabagnot capped his heroics by canning four straight free throws, including two with 42 seconds left for a 73-67 count.

Arwind Santos added 11 for the Boosters, the reigning Governors Cup champion.

Kerby Raymundo scored 10 points in his return from active duty for the Llamados. His split from the foul line with four minutes left gave B-MEG its last taste of the lead, 67-66.

The Llamados led by as many as 22-13 in the first quarter but the Boosters came right back in the second and only trailed by two at the break, 38-36

“It felt good to be able to help my new team,” said Lutz outside the Petron dugout after the game. “It was nice to see my teammates have faith to put the ball in my hands in that situation. But it was a team effort this win. We got it done on both ends of the court.

Scores:
Petron 73—Lutz 19, Cabagnot 17, Santos 11, Miranda 8, Sharma 6, Ildefonso 5, Guevarra 3, Agustin 2, Yeo 2, Baclao 0, Hontiveros 0.

B-MEG 69—Simon 21, Yap J. 10, Raymundo 10, Devance 9, Yap R. 9, Ferriols 4, Barroca 2, Reavis 2, Maierhofer 1, Pingris 1, Urbiztondo 0.

Quarter scores: 13-22, 36-38, 58-54, 73-69, 73-69

Over the course of an average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin, some weave their way through your life and disapear forever. But every once and awhile someone comes along who earns a permanent spot in your heart.

Paul and Torrey’s Corner

Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto, two rising stars in Hollywood, are the newest volunteers at Global Roots. Paul and Torrey met Global Roots founder Rick Montgomerywhen they were traveling in Italy and a friendship was immediately forged.

I am very impressed by Paul and Torrey,” Rick wrote after meeting them in Gubbio, Umbria. “Most young stars care only about the advancement of their careers. I knew right away that Paul and Torrey are different. It doesn’t surprise me at all that they found each other in Hollywood and that the message of Global Roots is one that resonates with them. They are just the kind of high-powered, deeply spirited young people we need to spread the Global Roots message”.

rick was impressed even further when he learned that Torrey DeVitto is already deeply involved in philanthropy (she is active with Hospice International and her father, the former Billy Joel drummer Liberty DeVitto, has been giving back for years) and that Paul has just been waiting for the right philanthropic opportunity to come his way. Running into our founder in Italy was about as organic as it comes.

Here is Paul's corner:

Every day, I have to remind myself that I was born into a seemingly arbitrary circumstance which has allowed me to live a happy, healthy, and abundant life. But I'd be completely and utterly ignorant if I were unaware of how lucky I am. And how very different it all could have been. Every single second of every day, an innocent child is born into a given circumstance that does not grant them the same opportunities many of us have been luckily afforded.

To those children, a life of famine and poverty is nothing but the norm. It is our duty to always remember this. And most importantly, to do everything we possibly can to help those who are in need. I've been looking for an opportunity to become more charitable in a focused and organized effort, and I organically and fortuitously stumbled upon "Global Roots". I am very proud to be a part of this program and my sincere hope is that more people will too.

Torrey was also quick to offer a thoughtful comment

There is so much that we take for granted in life. We get so caught up in petty stuff that we get blinded, unable to see what is going on around us. Unaware of all the suffering going on in the world. There are millions of children who don't even have the means to be fed every day. Working with Global Roots allows me and enables me to lend my hand to help be a part of ending that reality for as many children as possible. Being a part of something so pure is truly an honor.
